Ethnographic Park & Leisure
One of the most beautiful rustic spots in the municipality of La Orotava: seventeen thousand square metres at the foot of Mount Teide given over to an ethnographic and leisure park. A real park, not a stage set — it still keeps the century-old traditional wine press, the hay barn that was once a home, the threshing floor, the old stone washing troughs, the carved wooden trough, the hand water pump and the petanque court.
Thirty years of replanting, one plant at a time, with native Canary Island flora and trees have turned the estate into a spectacular garden with views of the valley's peaks. Complete peace deep in nature, close to the best hiking trails of the Teide National Park. The rural houses are scattered across all of it: you don't visit the park, you sleep in it.

Ethnographic features the estate preserves

The old beam press and the sandstone vault, with its barrels and bottles. Where the estate's wine was made.

Dry volcanic stone, a green door and a thatched roof. Listed by the Cabildo, it's now being rebuilt with the age-old techniques.

A ring of grass between stone walls and pines. This is where the grain was threshed; the cartwheel still stands nearby.

The stone basins with their spouts. Where the washing was done by hand before water reached the houses.

A trough carved from a single hollowed-out trunk. The animals' feeder and water trough, resting against the wall.

The cast-iron lever pump, over the old well. It was worked by hand to draw up water for the vegetable garden.

A court among the Canary pines. For long afternoons, with shade and a cool glass in hand.
How your stay works
Each house has its own entrance, its own garden, its own fully equipped kitchen. The pool sits at the heart of the estate and belongs to all the guests.
50 metres between houses. Woodland and fruit trees in between. If you don't want to see anyone, you won't see anyone.
A large rectangular pool among the tajinaste flowers, open all year round. Loungers for guests.
